Day 01 : Cochin (Kochi)
On first day of your
Kerala Tour Package, our representative will welcome you at Cochin (Kochi) Airport or Railway Station and then you will be transferred to the hotel. You can get fresh up, and then you can go for the local sightseeing of Cochin which covers few important tourism places like
Fort Kochi, Dutch Palace, St Francis Church, Jew Town, Paradesi Synagogue, Chinese Fishing net and
Marine Drive. Evening, return to the hotel and overnight stay in the hotel.
Day 02 : Cochin (Kochi) - Munnar (135 Km)
After breakfast check out the hotel and drive to
Munnar, one of the most visited hill stations of south India. Munnar also called as the green Paradise of Kerala because of its endless expands of Tea plantations, spice plantations, valleys, mountains and a variety of flora and fauna makes Munnar a perfect holiday destination. On the way to the Munnar, you will visit two important waterfalls of Kerala. First visit
Cheeyappara Waterfall, a beautiful waterfall where water cascades down in seven steps and
Valara Waterfall, famous for the chain of waterfalls with lush green forests. On arrival at Munnar, check in to the hotel or resort. Afternoon you can visit to the nearest
Tea Museum (Monday Holiday). Evening you can visit Munnar town and walk on the streets of Munnar, then return to the hotel or resort for the overnight stay.
Day 03 : Munnar Sightseeing
On day 03 of your
Kerala Tour Package, after breakfast, you can go for the full day sightseeing at Munnar. Visit
Mattupetty Dam, surrounded by the picturesque location of Munnar and offers many fascinating sights to relish. The main attraction of this place is a natural lake and a dam. Here you can enjoy the greenish valleys and feel the fabulous climate around. You can also go for water sport activities like
speed boating organized by District Tourism Promotion Council (DTCP) of Idukki and enjoy the pretty natural surroundings of this beautiful dam.
Then proceed to visit
Echo Point, a scenic place in Munnar popular for natural echo phenomenon. Then drive to
Top Station, a beautiful place and highest point of Munnar. At Top Station, you can feel that the clouds are just a hand touch away from you. This place is also famous for rare
Neelakurinji (Strobilanthus) blooms, which used to bloom once in twelve years. Then visit
Kundala, a picturesque place of Munnar and known for artificial dam in Kundala. The boating experience at
Kundala dam is a wonderful experience and cannot be expressed in the words. Boating facilities are available on rent to make your trip more enjoyable. Return to the hotel and overnight stay at the hotel or resort.
Day 04 : Munnar - Thekkady (Periyar) (115 Km)
After breakfast, check out the hotel or resort and drive to
Thekkady. Thekkady is one of the important tourist destinations of Kerala which is popular for elephants, unending chains of hills and spice-scented plantations.
Periyar Wildlife Sanctuary of Thekkady is a finest wildlife reserves in India and one of the important tourist place. On the way to Thekkady, you can enjoy different type of
spice plantations like cardamom, vanilla, pepper, cinnamon, clove etc., at both sides of the road. On arrival at Thekkady, check in to the hotel or resort.
Afternoon, proceed for the sightseeing at
Periyar Wildlife Sanctuary is thick evergreen forest, declared a Tiger Reserve in 1978. The splendid artificial lake formed by the Mullaperiyar Dam across the Periyar River adds to the charm of the park. Go for the famous
boating, there is a fine chance of spotting wild life during boating. Then if time permits, go for the
Elephant Safari. Evening you can also enjoy
Kathakali show, the local dance depicting the God & the devil,
Kalaripayattu show, ancient form of martial Arts practiced across this part of India. Overnight stay at the resort or hotel.
Day 05 : Thekkady - Alleppey (Alappuzha) Houseboat (150 Km)
On day 05 of your
Kerala Tour Package, after breakfast, check out the hotel or resort and drive to
Alleppey (Alappuzha). Alleppey is popular for picturesque Beahes, Canals, Brackish lagoons and sprawling backwaters. The main attraction of Alleppey is
Kerala Houseboats, popularly known as Kettuvallams. On arrival at Alleppey, check in to the houseboat, for an amazing cruise in the
Vembanad Lake to explore the back waters and its serene beauty. A lot of rare bird spotting is possible in this cruise. The lake ecosystem and life of the village people living on the shores of this lake can be closely watched and felt in this cruise. You will be served with the authentic delicious Kerala dishes in the House Boat. Overnight stay in the houseboat.
Day 06 : Alleppey - Cochin (160 Km)
This is the last day of your
Kerala Tour Package. Morning you can enjoy the delicious breakfast at the Houseboat, then disembark from the houseboat at Alleppey and drive to Cochin (Kochi). If time permits, pay a visit to the
LuLu International Shopping Mall, the largest shopping mall of India spread around 17 acres and most visited place. Then you will be transferred to Kochi International Airport or Railway station. Trip ends with the delightful memories of Kerala Tour Package.
