Day 01 : Cochin (Kochi) - Guruvayoor
Our representative will welcome you at
Cochin (Kochi) International Airport / Railway Station. Then drive to
Guruvayoor, one of the important places of worship. The presiding deity of the Guruvayur Temple is Vishnu, worshipped in the form of Krishna. On arrival at Guruvayoor, check in to the hotel and overnight stay at the hotel.
Day 02 : Guruvayoor - Cochin (Kochi)
Morning after breakfast, visit lord
Krishna temple and get the divine blessing then drive to Cochin.
Cochin is one of the important port cities and tourist hub of Kerala. Cochin is surrounded by the Western Ghats on the east and the beautifully looking Arabian Sea in the west. Lush mangroves, coconut tress reflected in the translucent waters of backwaters, ancient churches, sea shore and fort makes Cochin as important tourist destination. Enroute, visit
Athirapally Waterfall, a popular tourist destination of Kerala. It is largest waterfall in Kerala (80 ft) and is nicknamed
The Niagara of India. After visiting the waterfall, drive to Cochin, on arrival at Cochin, On arrival, you will be transferred to the hotel, check in to the hotel, rest of the day at leisure. Overnight stay at the hotel.
Day 03 : Cochin (Kochi)
Morning after breakfast, you can proceed for local sightseeing of Cochin which covers
Fort Kochi, Dutch Palace, St Francis Church, Jew Town, Paradesi Synagogue, Chinese Fishing Net (Cheenavala) and if time permits
Marine Drive. Evening, return to the hotel and overnight stay in the hotel.
Day 04 : Cochin (Kochi) - Munnar
After breakfast check out the hotel and drive to
Munnar, one of the most popular hill-station of south India. Munnar is located on the Western Ghats of Kerala. You can witness the nature's beauty at its best over Munnar. Marvelous Clouds at Munnar refreshes our mind and rejuvenate our soul. Enroute, visit
Cheeyappara Waterfalls and
Valara Waterfalls a picturesque waterfall located at a distance of 83 km from Kochi. Then proceed to
Munnar, on the way, you will definitely enjoy endless spread of tea plantations – breathtaking valleys and mountains – different types of flora and fauna in its wild sanctuaries and forests - aroma of spice scented cool air. On arrival at Munnar, check in to the hotel / resort and overnight stay at hotel / resort.
Day 05 : Munnar (Sightseeing)
After Breakfast, you will be free for full day sightseeing at
Munnar. Vist
Eravikulam National Park where the endangered Nilgiri Thar is protected and there are several other species of rare animals, birds and butterflies. The park offers a magnificent view of the tea plantations and also of the rolling hills caressed by blankets of mist. Then visit
Echo Point, a scenic destination at Munnar and then proceed to visit
Mattupetty Dam - a beautiful sightseeing destination where you can enjoy the greenish valleys and feel the wonderful climate around,
Tea museum (Monday Holiday),
Photo Shooting Point. Evening, return to the hotel/resort and overnight stay at hotel/resort.
Day 06 : Munnar - Thekkady (Periyar)
Morning, after Breakfast, check out the resort / hotel and drive to
Thekkady (also known as
Periyar), the popular Wildlife destination of Kerala. On the way to Thekkady, visit attractive
spice plantations both sides of the road. On arrival at Thekkady, check in to the hotel / resort and if time permits relax for some time. Afternoon, proceed to visit, The
Periyar Wildlife Sanctuary, a thick evergreen forest, declared as a Tiger Reserve in the year 1978. The impressive artificial lake formed by the Mullaperiyar Dam across the Periyar River enhances the charm of the park. Here you can go for
boating, the main attraction of this place. While boating, you get a chance of spotting wild life. If time permits, evening
Kathakali show, a local dance depicting the God & the devil,
Kalaripayattu show, ancient form of martial Arts practiced across this part of India. Return to the hotel and overnight stay at the resort/hotel.
Day 07 : Thekkady (Periyar) - Kumarakom
After having breakfast, check out your hotel and drive towards
Kumarakom, the icon of Kerala tourism and famous for its
backwater tourism. Check in your hotel/resort and later visit
Kumarakom Bird Sanctuary and nearby water scapes. Overnight stay at the hotel.
Day 08 : Kumarakom - Allepey (Alappuzha)
Morning, after breakfast, check out the resort / hotel and drive to
Alleppey (Alappuzha), an important tourist destination in Kerala and popular for Backwater cruise in
Houseboats popularly known as
Kettuvallams. A cruise along the mirror-still lagoons, picture-book lakeside, palm-fringed canals and shimmering rivulets of Kerala is the most enchanting holidaying experience in India. On arrival, check in to the houseboat, for an amazing cruise in the Beautiful Lake. You can spot rare birds during the cruise. The lake ecosystem and life of the village people living on the shores of this lake can be closely watched and felt in this cruise. You will be served with the authentic delicious Kerala dishes in the House Boat. Overnight stay in the houseboat.
Day 09 : Allepey (Alappuzha) - Kovalam
Morning, after breakfast, disembark from the houseboat and drive to
Kovalam, a beach town in Thiruvananthapuram city. Kovalam offers beaches with endless sight of coconut trees. Enjoy the evening watching a spectacular sunset or swimming at the picturesque
Kovalam Beach. Overnight is to be spent at hotel.
Day 10 : Kovalam - Kanyakumari
After breakfast check out the hotel and drive to
Kanyakumari. Kanyakumari is located at the southern tip of the Indian subcontinent and represents the site where the spiritual leader
Swami Vivekananda spent days in meditation upon a rock off of the coast. Visit some of the sightseeing attractions in Kanyakumari like
Suchithram Temple, Devi Kanyakumari Temple, Vivekananda Memorial, Gandhidham and
Trivenisagam. Enjoy the sunset in the evening and overnight stay at the hotel.
Day 11 : Kanyakumari - Trivandrum
After breakfast check out the hotel and drive to
Trivandrum (Thiruvananthapuram). Enroute, visit
Padmanbhapuram Palace and on arrival at Trivandrum, visit
Ananthapadmanabha Temple, Srichitra Art Gallery, Napier Museum and
Zoo. Check in to the hotel and overnight stay at the hotel.
Day 12 : Trivandrum - Airport
After the breakfast, check out the hotel and you will be transferred to the Airport for your onward journey.
